This page details the policies and procedures for Thee Hair Counselor. It describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase ( service and or product) from theehaircounselor.com (the “Site”). GRATUITY
Tipping your stylist is optional (but always appreciated)! However, for parties of 4 or more, 20% gratuity will be automatically added.
Gratuity can be accepted one of three ways:

Booking and Deposits:
All initial appointments require a nonrefundable deposit at the of booking.
Deposits are credited towards your service cost.
Thee Hair Counselor LLC will require a payment method to be save for file.
1. Cancellations by Company:
If Thee Hair Counselor need to cancel due to not being able to schedule, your deposit converts to a gift card for future services.
2. Customer Cancellations and Rescheduling:
Cancel or reschedule at least 72 hours in advance to avoid penalties.
Rescheduling within this period does not require an additional deposit.
- Cancellations less than 72 hours before the appointment incur a 50% charge of the scheduled service; 100% for extensions.
*Travel Services and Travel Education Courses: Cancellations less than 72 hours before the appointment/Class incur 100% charge of the scheduled Service and/or Class.
3. No- Call/ No-Show Policy:
Client will be Charged 100% of service missed; this is the remaining balance if you paid a deposit. Client must pay 100% of Service Appointment in advance to re-book. The initial deposit is forfeited and will not count towards re-booking payment.
4. Late Arrivals:
Notify us ASAP if running more than 15 minutes late.
Arrivals over 15 minutes is an additional $20 and $20 for per 10 minutes after up to 45 minutes. After 45 minutes late your appointment will be canceled and the client will be charged accordingly as listed above. please respect other clients’ time as well as the specialist and stylist.
5. Service Preparation:
Arrive with hair washed, detangled, and blow-dried unless these are included in your service.
Avoid applying oils/grease before your appointment; these may be applied afterward if needed.
*Hair Loss Clients: Arrive with hair in it natural state if this is your Full Scalp Analysis Consultation with Scope.
6. Styling Time:
Styling duration's are estimates, varying by Cranial Prosthesis Method and or desired Service.
7. Consultations:
Certain services require a deposit-paid consultation at booking.
Free consultations available for basic inquiries. Paid consultations offer detailed hair care advice without subsequent service obligations.
8. Policy Enforcement:
Policies are subject to change. Late cancellations and no-shows may incur fees.
Completion of appointments without issues incurs no additional fees; fees apply only when terms are violated.

Policy for Online and In-Person Classes and Courses
Deposit and Payment Policy:
A nonrefundable deposit is required at the time of booking any class or course.
All payments are final and nonrefundable, including deposits, class fees, and any additional charges agreed upon during the consultation.
Cancellation Policy for Classes Involving Travel:
If Thee Hair Counselor is required to travel for a class or course, the student will be notified once the class date is approved and travel arrangements are made.
If the student cancels after receiving this notification, they are responsible for covering the full cost of the travel expenses incurred.
This policy ensures that non-refundable travel bookings and other related costs are covered.
Student Travel Responsibilities:
Students who travel to attend a class or course at Thee Hair Counselor’s location are responsible for arranging and covering their own travel, transportation, and accommodations.
Thee Hair Counselor is not responsible for any costs associated with the student’s travel, including but not limited to transportation, lodging, and meals.
Student Responsibilities for Tools and Equipment:
Students must provide their own tools and equipment required for the class or course unless otherwise specified in the agreement with Thee Hair Counselor.
Any specific tools or equipment needed will be outlined during the consultation and must be acquired by the student before the class or course begins.
Consultation and Agreement:
A consultation is required before booking to discuss course details, expectations, and any special requirements.
During the consultation, both parties will agree on terms, including responsibility for tools, equipment, travel arrangements, and other specific needs.
Once an agreement is made, any changes or cancellations will be subject to this policy.
Additional Terms:
Thee Hair Counselor reserves the right to modify class content, scheduling, or requirements as needed, with advance notice to the student.
By booking a class or course, the student agrees to all terms and conditions outlined in this policy.
Policy for Small Group Classes
Deposit and Payment Policy:
A nonrefundable deposit is required at the time of booking any small group class.
All payments are final and nonrefundable, including deposits, class fees, and any additional charges agreed upon during the consultation.
Cancellation Policy for Classes Involving Travel:
If Thee Hair Counselor is required to travel for a small group class, participants will be notified once the class date is approved and travel arrangements are made.
If the group cancels after receiving this notification, the participants are responsible for covering the full cost of the travel expenses incurred.

Group Travel Responsibilities:

APPOINTMENT DETAILS
When booking an appointment, please provide as many details as possible about your location. This can include but is not limited to the following:

Parking – We need to know where best to park, and reserve the right to charge for any parking/valet costs incurred

Apartment/Unit Number

Room Number/Floor – This applies to hospitals, retirement homes, and any other buildings with multiple wings and rooms

Stairs/Elevators – We are bringing the salon to you, so helping us get to you faster is much appreciated

Accessibility/Check In – Be it a gated community, hospital, or any number of other facilities, knowing how to get in makes the process easier
All of these details are important for us arrive on time and provide you with the best salon experience we can offer.
30 MINUTE WINDOW
As a mobile company, some things such as weather and traffic are simply out of our control. For that reason, we ask you understand we may not arrive exactly at the scheduled start time, which in turn may then push back your end time. However, it is also our policy to keep you informed of any unforeseen delays and to provide you with updates.
APPOINTMENT TIME
Hair must be clean on the day of your appointment. Depending on your hair texture and desired cut, the mobile travel hairstylist will wet your hair if necessary. We ask you to be prepared for your appointment so that you can keep to your schedule, and we can keep on providing our premier mobile salon experience to others.
Although we strive to be on time and keep appointment dates, there are times where we may need to call to re-arrange an appointment. Due to us being mobile and things changing, flexibility is always appreciated. If you need your appointment to be on the date you schedule and it is non-negotiable, please let us know in the comment section when booking your appointment.
COVID-19 POLICIES
1) Temperature checks every morning for stylists.
2) Waivers to be signed by clients stating that:
a. They are not symptomatic;
b. Have not been symptomatic in the last two (2) weeks, and;
c. The same applies to everyone in their household.
3) Recorded logs of clients’ locations and dates we see them in the event we need to
conduct contact tracing.
4) Stylists where masks to all appointments, and an additional face shield if client cannot
wear a mask. All clients are asked to wear a mask.
5) Appointments provided outside (weather permitting).
6) Continued sanitation of equipment before and after each client, and in compliance with
the Department of Regulatory Agency’s standard policies.

Privacy Policy of Thee Hair Counselor
Thee Hair Counselor operates the www.theehaircounselor.com website, which provides the SERVICE.
This page is used to inform website visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service, Thee Hair Counselor website.
